Senior Quantity Surveyor

You will be joining a family run business based in Derbyshire working on commercial and industrial projects. This growing organisation has made the role available for a Senior QS to help expand their business. Currently operating in the blue chip food industry they are now looking to grow in the commercial and industrial sectors having completed several projects up to £3 million.

As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, managing subcontract tender processes, managing subcontractor accounts as well as providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.

In order to be successful, you will have at least 3 years' experience surveying on commercial fit out or industrial projects. In addition, you will have a degree/HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying (or experience equivalent) and be able to prioritise workloads and work within set deadlines. Finally, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

In return, you will receive a competitive day rate with a view to going permanent on a basic salary of up to £65k/annum.
