Your new employer is an established and reputable company who focus on the delivery of Marine Civil Engineering and Bridges for both private and public sector clients from scheme concept through to detailed design and construction, this organisation has secured excellent levels of repeat business and continue to build on their successes.
Your new role
Multiple sites across Central Belt and Scotland, this consultancy will require a Principal Engineer to be involved in all aspects of civil engineering projects such as piers, harbours, marinas, coastal protection and bridges.
As part of your role, you will help to prepare and review project proposals with cost estimates, monitor and report on the project expenses and budgets to a Partner, lead and supervise other engineers and technicians, and act as the NEC Project Manager during the construction phase. You will also support the training and development of Graduate Engineers. This is a permanent role. Working away will be required.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as a Principal Engineer it is essential that you have relevant experience in a similar role, working on high value schemes. To be considered for this role you should hold strong communication skills and hold a successful track record working on piers, harbours, marinas, coastal protection, and bridges projects across public and private sectors.
