Your new company
Your new company will be a commercial market advisor. They have office across Europe and Australia. They are seeking a Building and Facilities manager to join their team to run the general maintenance and services for their Office in Central Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for a manager to make an impact within the company.
Your new role
Your new role will involve supervising the relocation of the office into a larger space in Central Oxford over the next 12 months. This will include planning, controlling budgets, dilapidations, snagging, liaising with stakeholders, contractors and trades, and sign off. You will need to ensure a smooth transition into the space in collaboration with the office management team.
Once settled into the new space, your responsibilities will include overseeing general maintenance and facilities, working with stakeholders, the landlord and the office management team. You'll need to manage and improve health and safety standards, the quality of the building and office utilisation. There will be opportunity to work with the wider business and improve processes across other offices.
It is full time, Monday to Friday, office hours are 9am-6pm. You will need to be in the office 5 days a week.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience in project and facilities management within professional services/office space is vital for the role. Proven knowledge of construction and regulations is needed. You will need to be an excellent communicator and able to manage effective relationship with stakeholders at all levels. Time management and attention details will be important skills are this role.
