Maintenance Carpenter / Joiner

Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting for a public sector organisation for an experienced Maintenance Joiner / Carpenter on a permanent basis to cover the Staffordshire and Shropshire area (a van for business use will be provided)


Your new role
Your new role will be working within a healthcare setting where you will be completing all aspects of both planned and reactive maintenance and ensuring these are done to a satisfactory standard and within health and safety requirements. You will undertake minor repairs (with a joinery basis) however may also be expected to carry out minor painting and plumbing works as and when appropriate.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for the role, you must have a relevant qualification in Joinery e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ, have a full driving licence (as part of the role will be to attend different healthcare centres) as well having a customer focused approach. Furthermore, you must also be prepared to work on the call-out rota (further information will be provided)
