Area Surveyor

Your new company
Your new company will be a local authority in Oxford. They are seeking an Area Surveyor to join their housing team temporarily.
Your new role
Your new role will be overseeing day to day reactive and Maintenance work, successfully delivering projects and programmes of works, and managing contractors both in terms of programmes, spend and quality. Some of the works will involve disrepair and legal claims. You'll need to work with the property team, tenants, trades and other stakeholders. This is a hybrid role - you'll be carrying out surveys, home inspections and working from home. A laptop and tech will be supplied.

• Monday to Friday, 7.5 hrs a day
• £20-£25 per hour
• Start asap
• 6 months (likely to be extended)
• Hybrid

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working with reactive and maintenance work, especially disrepair, within social housing will be vital to this role. A degree or RICs membership isn't essential.
