Your new company
Your new company is an independent engineering consultancy with 50 employees focusing on delivering sustainable and innovative design of both new and refurbished buildings across wide variety of sectors. These include high-rise residential towers, £200m mixed-use facilities, historical buildings, industrial sheds, sports facilities, luxury car garages and much more.

Your new role
Your new role will see you joining your new company as a Structural Engineer (although more senior candidates are also welcome to apply) based in your companies luxury Manchester office space, alongside 7 colleagues. Your new role will require your involvement across the full range of a projects life cycle including detailed design, client meetings, site visits and even networking!

What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need a minimum of 3 years\' of UK experience in the design of buildings across different sectors. In terms of software both AutoCAD and Tekla Tedds experience is a requirement, with any further software experience being a bonus. In order to effectively manage and work alongside a variety of interesting and varied clients, strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage client expectations are highly desirable, in order to generate repeat business.

What you\'ll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive annual salary of between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on your level of experience. For those non-chartered engineers, you will be assigned a mentor and attend regular progress meetings to with a Director at the company, of which two sit on the IStructE board and regularly contribute to industry magazines.
