Your new company
Your new company are an exciting multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that provide specialist civil and structural design solutions to their varied base and have nearly 150 employees working across 4 UK office locations.

You can expect to be involved with master-planning and urban renewal projects, building structure infrastructure, public realm and net-zero projects across all exciting sectors at your new company.

Your new role
In your new role as a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer you will contribute to the detailed and conceptual design of infrastructure as well as checking the drawings and calculations of others. Briefing and managing junior engineers and technicians, as well as attending site visits and project meetings will be key elements of your role.

Technical report writing, deadline management and hands on development of junior engineers are all important tasks that you will be involved with.

What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need a minimum of a BEng in Civil Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant UK experience. Technical expertise in drainage and local highway infrastructure, as well as flood risk and SUDS is also required.

Software-wise you will need to be confident using AutoCAD, Civil 3D/PDS and Microdrainage/Causeway Flow.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, an ability to effectively collaborate both internally and externally and a can-do attitude to problem solving are all highly desirable soft skills.

What you\'ll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive annual salary in line with your experience that is regularly reviewed, revised and updated. A starting salary in the range of £45,000 - £60,000 can be expected. Hybrid and flexible working is also available so that you can balance work and life.
