Your new company
Your new company is a dynamic Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy providing innovative, sustainable and forward-thinking solutions to construction problems, with the client service the main emphasis every time. With 15 years\' of industry presence, they currently have three UK offices; Manchester, Leeds and London and around 50 employees.
The customer focused approach allows your new company to generate 80% of their work through repeat business, with a Director-led approach to engineering.
The sectors they are involved with are wide ranging between £250,000 - £100m project value and include residential, commercial, retail, warehousing, extra care, hotel & leisure, healthcare, food processing and listed buildings.
Your new role
Your new will see you joining the Structural Engineering team in Manchester of 5 engineers and technicians. Maintaining the company Revit/BIM standards and production of structural engineering 2D and 3D drawings at all stages, including concept, tender and construction are both key elements to your new role.
Ensuring that high quality Revit models successfully co-ordinate with other disciplines and the preparation of building structures drawings with accuracy and integrity. The preparation of project documentation and generation of clash reports are also elements of your new role.
What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need three or more years in the industry and advanced competency in Revit and collaboration between Revit and Navisworks. Proficiency in AutoCAD is also needed. Detailed knowledge and understanding of the principles of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and overall strong problem-solving skills are also highly valued as well as strong communication with those on your team, and in other disciplines.
What you\'ll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary in line with your experience ranging between £35,000 - £45,000. There is an annual salary review in the new year which would see your salary continuously grow throughout your development. During this discussion, and annual bonus capped at a months salary will be on the table, somewhat dependant on the companies financial success.
