Client-side Project Manager

Your new company
Excellent opportunity to join a privately owned retail group with a property and construction division. You will be joining an organisation with a long and established history, who are going from strength to strength, to become a part of their in-house Project Management team. The organisation has an extensive existing property portfolio consisting of industrial spaces, out of town retail and residential, which is continuously growing.

Your new role
Due to having already acquired a substantial existing land bank (and still acquiring further land), you will work on a variety of new build projects, predominantly within Essex. Projects are likely to include offices, retail, industrial and residential. As the in-house Project Manager you will work with design consultants for each project, assess the feasibility and manage the delivery of the project through external contractors. Once the project completes, you will manage the handover of the building to the in-house Facilities and Asset Management team. You will also be involved in refurbishment projects. Your time will be split between the office in Basildon and on the various sites which are predominantly based in Essex. What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you will need to be an experienced Project Manager and have ideally worked on both commercial and residential projects. Experience of managing the full life-cycle of the project is essential. You should live within commutable distance of Basildon and hold a full driving licence.
