Building Services Engineer/Manager

Tier 1 Contractor requires experienced Building Services Professional for initial 3 month contract. Glasgow.

Your new company
Our client are a leading tier 1 contractor with a very busy pipeline of work across Glasgow and Edinburgh. One of their largest projects is approaching completion and they are seeking to appoint an experienced building services professional to their business to assist in finishing off the project.


Your new role
This role could be classified as a building services manager or engineer and our client are open to the experience level of the candidate.. You will be supporting an existing building services manager in ensuring the M&E packages of this project are getting completed on time and in line with drawings. This project is on large healthcare facility so the M&E packages are complex and detailed so you must be competent in working with tier 1 electrical and mechanical subcontractors.


What you'll need to succeed
Our client are seeking a building services professional either from a main contractor or subcontractor background. Ideally you will be from a mechanical background but our client are willing to consider other technical biases aswell. Perhaps you are from a subcontractor background and have worked as a supervisor or PM and are looking to get into building services management with a tier 1 contractor. This is a great opportunity to test yourself on a large complex project working with industry leaders.

This is an immediate role for the right candidate and will be for an initial 3 month duration. You will be paid an attractive daily/hourly rate and you will be given the opportunity to transfer to a permanent employee role if you perform well. Get in touch asap!
