Hays are delighted to be working with a well-established family run SME within the roofing industry. With over 50 years' experience in the industry, they provide technical and practical solutions to the roofing needs of their customers, providing roofing products to Tier 1 Contractors such as Wates and Skanska. With the business growing, they are seeking a junior CAD Designer to join their team.

Your new role
As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the team to ensure all technical drawings are aligned with designs and meet all production and client specifications. This will include interrogating 3D models for information, following company design and technical processes, drawing details and dimensions to producing 2D approval drawings and then converting to 3D models for customer approval.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be proficient in AutoCAD 2D with experience with Autodesk Inventor being desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Ideally you will need to have construction experience and knowledge with strong technical, mechanical and mathematical ability. You will have the ability to perform without supervision and you must be highly motivated.

You will be offered a competitive salary of up to £30K per annum or day rate if you consider temporary depending on experience, 31 days holiday including bank holiday, 5 days pa on full day, monthly bonus based on sales after 6 months, light refreshments and snack provided and once per month company hot lunch!
