BIM manager/ Coordinator - Greater Manchester


Your new company
Your new company is a large multidisciplinary with multiple office across the UK that boasts over 500 highways and infrastructure staff. They're currently working across some of the largest UK infrastructure projects working closely with contractors and consultancies to deliver a high-standard of work on each project they are involved with. Your new company is trusted by both their clients and employees where they offer multiple trips as a business per-year, sporting communities and they strive to push their staff toward professional attributes such as chartership with ICE and IStructE.

Your new role
Your new role will see you working as either a BIM Manager or BIM Coordinator depending on your level of experience. You will be involved primarily on projects relating to HS2, which will range from preparing track design, bridgeworks, land access and handling 100s of tech and information spreadsheets which relate to the daily running of the project. For the BIM Manager role, your will be using your MIDPs & TRDPs experience to ensure this data is collated and implemented across the team. The team itself consists of 8 staff with the goal to expand to 12 over the next few months. This team's work currently impacts on £1bn worth of projects.


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years' BIM UK industry experience and a fluency of MIDPs & TRDPs. For the BIM coordinator, this role is NOT open to graduates or those without industry experience but is however open to those with 2+ years BIM experience.
As this role can take you across the country to certain site, you will need a full driving licence that is valid in the UK.
