Project Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a small, private cost consultancy based in Victoria. In a short time they’ve carved a significant reputation for delivering high end residential, leisure / hospitality and hotel developments across the UK South / London area.

Having strategically developed their staff to date, they now boast a strong engine room of APC surveyors (at various stages) but now require a competent surveyor who would sit towards the front end of the business. In particular they would like to hire a confident project runner (and will appoint at Senior level QS as necessary) to help broaden their project delivery capability and in turn, attract new clients / commissions.

The technical role will encompass a full suite of pre and post contract administration including some employers agent duties and you will principally take charge of a number of projects (JCT) and associated client management. Where necessary, you will also have ready access to project support via their strong cohort of apprentices.

Candidates wishing to apply must have completed a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (RICS accredited) degree with a minimum of 3 years’ PQS experience, specific to UK. It’s expected that applicants will be either MRICS, or sitting this year although direct and relevant experience will be considered too  if a strong UK PQS background.

Key personal criteria includes being personable, articulate and presentable. Applicants should also have competent IT skills and a UK driving licence.

Salary guide is £50,000 - 55,000 basic (dependent on experience) + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
