Assistant Estimator

A well established and vibrant firm based in Nottinghamshire who predominantly run projects for commercial and retail clients. They have a great ethos of developing talent and this role can be senior and even management level within 5 years.

Your new role
As an Assistant Estimator you will be responsible for taking on the new projects liaising with the clients to secure a project timelines, maintain records and information generally at the early stages of the project, liaise with internal teams to ensure the projects can be completed on time and budget.
Set the project schedule to hit the company targets of quality, value and time. You will also provide the calculations for the product elements, check the designs from the commercial team for accuracy.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a degree in Estimating / Quantity Surveying or equivalent, some experience working for a contractor, subcontractor or house builder, excellent communication skills, drive to develop yourself to become a member of the senior commercial team & a passion for interior fit-out and design.
