Your new role
Are you an experienced and dynamic Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality new build housing projects? This company is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Site Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the construction and management of new residential developments, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of new build housing projects from start to finish.
Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to guarantee compliance with building regulations and specifications.
Monitor and manage health and safety practices on-site, promoting a safe working environment for all workers and visitors.
Effectively communicate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and consultants, to resolve any issues and ensure smooth project progression.
Keep accurate records of project progress, materials, and workforce, and provide regular reports to the senior management team.

What you'll need to succeed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on new build housing projects.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate teams.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are highly desirable.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
