Hays Civil Engineering are working alongside this highly recognised and reputable Civil Engineering Contractor in recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their business

With a proud heritage and history, we are looking for an experienced and professional Business Development Manager to join this exceptional organisation, and support them on their journey

We are looking for fantastic people to join this business! You will be currently working for either a Civil engineering Contractor or Construction Contractor and be hungry for a brand new opportunity

Working alongside the Pre-Construction team, and with a line into Senior Management, this is a fully autonomous and self-driven role. Your main responsibilities will be to develop new business opportunities, expand current opportunities and frameworks, and support developing this business to the next level

You will be commercial, you must love networking, and you'll be tasked with discovering new ways, and new opportunities to grow this business

Some Key Responsibilities will include:

• Developing a Business Development Strategy, and evolving the current BD strategy
• Identify new Clients, and new growth opportunities for the business
• Work alongside the Pre-Construction, Bid Teams and Ops teams in securing and tendering for business
• Develop current, and existing client base
• Maximise potential of your current network of clients
• Fully exploit all market opportunities, from: Networking & Marketing; Trade Press; Construction Marketing Publications; Websites, Constructionline etc
• Attend Social Events
• Endorse CECA Membership
