Senior or Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer, design office based in Liverpool

Your new company
Your new company is a multidisciplinary organisation with 14 offices UK wide. Your office is located in the heart of Liverpool city centre, in a modern and open plan office space. There are 35 employees spread across the structural, civil and transport planning team in Liverpool working alongside one another. Over the past 5 years, your new company has finished in the Top 100 companies to work for in the UK every year!

Your new role
Your new role will see you joining the civil design team of 10, working on an incredible variety of infrastructure projects in the commercial, residential, education, healthcare, historical building and other sectors. With a vast repeat client base across these sectors, you will be producing the detailed and conceptual design on projects varying from £500,000 up to £500m+ across the Northern region.

Your company are involved in the master planning on huge frameworks with the likes of Liverpool Water and Wirral Water, creating scope for huge amount of drainage and highway design for the next 10 years.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need at least 2 years industry experience as a Civil Design Engineer with a focus on either Highways, Drainage systems or ideally both. The software's you will need to succeed are AutoCAD, Causeway Flow or Civil3D although there is scope for you to learn these skills on the job if you have previously used different software's.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to succeed. Financial management and client facing skills are important, however these are both skills that your new company will invest resources into improving.

There is a hybrid working model in place, however it is essential that you can commute into Liverpool city centre 3 times per week.
