Your new role
This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to working with pupils, in 1 to 1 and classroom environments. The successful candidate will support and develop the educational interests of students and provide a safe environment for them to thrive in.

Duties relating to the role include but are not limited to:

• Supporting a pupil or a small group of children on a 1:1 basis.
• Support pupils with behavioural issues.
• Working closely as part of a team.
• Creating and maintaining a safe, interactive and engaging learning environment for the pupils.
• Assisting teachers and other teaching assistants with day-to-day duties in the classroom.
• Supporting the Class Teacher with planned activities and sessions.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need and get up and go attitude
A passion for building relationships
The drive and desire to help children learn and succeed
A valid and up to date DBS, if you already have one brilliant, if not we can do one for you.
Driving license is preferred but not essential.

You must have at least 40 days experience working as a Teaching Assistant within the last two years, which we are able to reference. Hays welcomes all candidates whether you are qualified or unqualified! You must be committed, flexible and have a calm and understanding approach to working with children.
