Job Details

Job title: Architectural Technician

Location: Chester
Salary: between £28,000- £35,000 depending one experience.

One of the oldest architectural practices in the country, formed over 150 years ago in Chester and still delivering quality projects across the country with a strong workload across Wales and the North West. They work on a wide variety of projects including residential and social housing, office blocks, public works and various healthcare and education facilities. Average project value is between £5-£10 million. They have a great relationship with numerous education providers and have designed some of the most cutting-edge SEN schools in the country. The Chester office is set in a beautiful Georgian building, built in 1763, and the 20-strong staff occupy modern, functional spaces throughout the building. Your new role

Working with 4 other Architectural Technicians with a wide range of experience, you will be working on developments across the country, using your knowledge of Revit to assist in the delivery in a variety of projects. You will be working closely with an experienced Architectural team, reporting directly into the Associate Director. Main duties include:

  • Investigate client issues, co-ordinate the design development process, preparing planning and building regulation applications.
  • Producing technical drawings using Revit for commercial projects
  • Presenting detailed design solutions and collating design documents
  • Assisting with bid and tender enquiries, checking estimates
  • Ensuring work complies with health and safety and construction compliance



What you'll need to succeed
A healthy working knowledge of Revit, experience with projects and a strong collaborative attitude.
