Associate Civil Engineer

Opportunity for an Associate Engineer to work a client facing role within a multi- disciplinary consultancy.

Your new company
Is an international multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who are currently looking to expand their Civil Design team in London. The company is a well respected name in the market who place a high value on developing their employees across a large range of projects.

Your new role
As an Associate you will be expected to proactively and ethically motivate teams to help deliver superior outcomes on projects. You will also help with the collection, preparation and compilation of fee projections for the UK business and help allocate resources to project teams under your direction. You would also be involved in the development of Senior and Design Engineers to help them accept greater responsibility and accountability. You will co-ordinate the design between multiple teams and take responsibility for the technical drawings in front of clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be working at a Principal or Associate or Associate Director level within a design engineering consultancy with relevant project experience in the Civil field. Candidates must be chartered with a UK governing board and have at least 10 years engineering experience in the UK. Ideal candidates must have demonstrated a capacity for leadership of teams on large projects and must be able to mentor junior staff.
