Project Delivery Manager Local Authority Midlands Construction Job Opportunity Civil Transport

Your new company
Our client is a local authority based in the Midlands within their highways and transportation department.

As a Project Delivery Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead on the delivery of varied traffic and transportation engineering projects
  • Design and Project Delivery Management of singular projects i.e. Pelican Crossings, Traffic Calming, New Traffic Roundabouts, Road Widening, New Bypass, Cycle Routes etc.
  • Ability to use computer design and specialist software packages i.e ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig, TRANSYST, Saturn, MX Roads, Junctions
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals
  • Experience of NEC3 and NEC4 Contract Management




What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant Degree / Equivalent Professional or Project Management Qualification / Demonstrable Experience
  • Experience of using relevant design software packages i.e ARCADYS, PICADYS, LinSig, TRANSYST, Saturn, MX Roads, Junctions
  • Ideally experience working in a public sector environment
  • Experience in managing and the delivery of traffic and transportation infrastructure projects including understanding the financials behind the project and client management
  • Experience of NEC3 and NEC4 Contract Management
  • CEng or MICE is beneficial
