Your new role

Although not-essential, experience in hazardous and safety critical industries as well as currently working towards you chartership (or being chartered) with the ICE/IStructE is ideal.

Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment, managing your own time effectively and having a string working knowledge of best practice for structural design is all needed. In terms of software experience both AutoCAD and Tekla Tedds is required, with additional software's being non-essential, although your new company will provide training on all software's anyway.
