Mechanical Design Engineer | Growing Business | Up to £55k | Birmingham | Office Based

Your New Company
You will be part of a growing building services and engineering consultancy based near Birmingham City Centre.

You will be reporting to the Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Your New Role
Your main purpose of the role is the design of mechanical engineering for building services and to lead and manage projects and the mechanical team, locally and remotely.

In this role, you will be:

• Assisting other design engineers
• Surveying and reporting on mechanical systems in buildings
• Undertaking design calculations
• Developing design proposals at sketch, detailed design and production stages
• Preparing tender documentation and reports

You will need to undertake other duties as may be required to achieve objectives.

What You'll Need to Succeed
You will need to have mechanical design experience.

You will need:

• Design experience in various sectors
• Degree or equivalent in Building Services or related subject
• Experience in design software e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, IES
• To be willing to travel
