Public Sector, property maintenance department, immediate start, Help Coordinator, 12 month contract.

Your new company
Hays are working with a large public sector organisation based in Belfast with a presence across Northern Ireland whose estate ranges in age and type, mostly commercial or industrial. The role will be the first point of contact between the Property Office and Operations, Service Providers and Public concerning building maintenance issues.

Your new role
The Property Maintenance Department undertake between 6-8,000 jobs/tasks per year E.g: repairing a leaking tap or painting an entire building.
The primary function of the Helpdesk Coordinator will be to manage the considerable information that this high volume of work generates and to update the work database or CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management System).
Working closely with the Maintenance Officers, the Helpdesk Coordinator will assist in choosing the most efficient systems for completing repairs.
The Coordinator will log all incoming jobs, assist in setting work priority, plan completion dates and inform operations of work status as well as ensuring the extensive database is up to date and accurate.

What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this opportunity you must be an excellent communicator and have experience of working within a Helpdesk environment.
You will also have the following: All MS Office packages and a Purchasing System such as Agresso.
Budget reporting and payment processing experience.
Qualifications: 3rd level academic qualifications; relevant professional or vocational qualifications.

The salary range for this position is c. £24,000 - £25,000 pro rata
35 days paid annual leave.
37 hours per week Monday to Friday
