Disrepair Surveyor

Permanent opportunity for a disrepair surveyor to work with a Manchester based housing association.

Your new company
Manchester based housing association, looking after a portfolio of 6000 across Manchester. They are located in south Manchester with easy access via the tram or driving. The office is an open plan space where the team can work collaboratively. They offer a hybrid working arrangement with the team working from the office 2-3 day a week.

Your new role
Working as part of the asset management team you will deliver the disrepair surveys across the portfolio. On daily basis you will look at disrepair claims and potential claims, casework, litigation claims, liaising with Legal partners, claimants, and contractors to resolve cases.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an organised individual with great communication skills, being able to deal with internal team members as well as tenants and external consultants. You will have knowledge of building disrepair and building pathology.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be working in a team environment on a 35 hour working week. You will have an an option to work few days from home and will be paid mileage to all site visits.
