We are working closely in partnership with one of the largest and most renowned Construction Consultancies across the UK and further afield. This client has an incredible opportunity for a Junior/Assistant Project Manager to join their Birmingham office and work towards gaining chartership.


Your new role

This client is seeking a Junior/Assistant Project Manager to join their successful and renowned Project Management Team in it's Birmingham office. The team are currently working on a major infrastructure contract in the Midlands and are seeking a Junior/Assistant Project Manager to support the Senior PM and Project Director on this project and other projects moving forwards.

Some of the regular activities that you will be involved with include:

  • Risk Management
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Management
  • Design Team Meetings
  • Contractor Procurement
  • Funding Applications
  • Programming
  • Quality Monitoring
  • Management of sub-consultants


This current project will allow you to gain experience across the full project lifecycle, and therefore satisfy all of the relevant competencies to allow you to gain chartership over a short period of time.


What you'll need to succeed

You will have a minimum of 1 years' experience, and have a solid understanding of project lifecycle. A knowledge of NEC contracts would also be a valuable attribute for this role.


What you'll get in return

A salary up to £40,000 is on offer for this role dependant on experience, along with a generous holiday allowance and other industry leading benefits.

As mentioned, this would be an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking to gain chartership as you will be able to gain experience in all core competencies much quicker than in other roles due to the nature of the project that you will be working on.
