Job Details
Our client is a thriving niche cost consultancy in Central London with an opportunity to grow their head count based on a very strong pipeline of current & upcoming projects.
Their portfolio consists of high end residential, hospitality and hotel developments, and alongside offering traditional pre & post contract administration services they also offer Employers Agent services.
They’re immediately wanting to hire a competent Assistant Quantity Surveyor with 2-3 years PQS experience (UK only) and a recently graduated Quantity Surveyor – potentially with a year out experience but less than 12 months post-graduation work experience.
Having enjoyed steady growth since their inception, our client have developed a strong cohort of training APC candidates whom will be proactive guide you through some crucial developmental years ahead.
Responsibilities will include a range of traditional tasks from rudimentary pre & post contract administration duties (measurement, tender reviews, reporting, budget estimating etc) and other roles such as controlling purchase orders, attending design and site meetings, inspections, compiling defects and assessing completions, assistance with project documentation (JCT).
Candidates wishing to apply must have eligibility to work in the UK (without restriction), you must have completed a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (RICS accredited) - our client would highlight their particular interest to speak with aspiring female applicants.
Applicants wishing to apply should be personable in nature, articulate and presentable. You will be given immediate opportunities re: client contact so you should be confident in your ability to handle early levels of responsibility. Candidates should also have good, competent IT skills. Cost X experience would be advantageous. An excellent opportunity for any young surveyor!
Salary guide is up to c£30,000 (for Grad) - £40,000 (for competent Assistant) – both dependent on experience + Benefits
