Lead Architect - in house design for a developer - build a team around you!

Your new company
A national developer working across residential conversions, new build and commercial projects is seeking to bring their architectural work in house, and as such is seeking a Lead Architect to build a team around. You will report directly to company directors, and have a real input in to the future of the architectural side of the business.

Your new role
You will be responsible for a wide remit of architectural design, from creation of site plans, house types, planning packs and construction drawings, as well as taking responsibility for building robust internal procedures to ensure quality and consistency with industry best practices for the growing team.

You will work closely with in-house quantity surveyors and planners, as well as external contractors, to deliver outstanding buildings for a range of clients across the UK.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate through a portfolio of work extensive experience across residential projects, ideally with experience in converted properties. You will have strong technical skills across AutoCAD and Revit, with experience job running on site also a big advantage.

You will have experience of leading a team, ideally having recruited staff (although not essential).
