Full Time Facilities and Contracts Manager - Hard Services

Your new role
The Facilities and Contract Manager is responsible for ensuring that buildings, areas and services are suitably serviced and maintained to allow their occupants to carry out their duties.

You will be responsible for assisting in the front line management of the day to day delivery
of FM services.

Regulatory compliance and supervision of FM contractors are the core activities of this
role, however there is also a wide remit of activities expected to be pursued. The high
profile nature of the role requires a mature outlook to work prioritisation and a diplomatic
demeanour to reassure service users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as primary point of contact for all building related issues
- Logging reactive and planned tasks on CAFM system
- Sub-contractor management and issuing permits to work
- Manage on-site service providers for soft and hard services
- Organise regular review meetings with all key service providers
- Help deliver building related capital investment projects
- Manage key relationships with stakeholders including formal review meetings


What you'll need to succeed

- Experience working within a fast paced FM environment
- Experience with Hard Services FM
- An engineering background
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of H&s and environment legislation
- Knowledge of engineering legislation


- IOSHH or above
- Full UK driving licence
- Asbestos awareness
