Hays is delighted to be working with an exceptional Local Authority based out of Hertfordshire. They have an exciting mix of market town aesthetic and urban buzz, with the most diverse population in Hertfordshire.

As Senior Property Officer this role will be the day to day team leader for the Housing Property Team, overseeing the work distribution, giving advice and direction on more complex cases, ensuring procedures are up to date and being applied correctly, being available to resolve issues as and when they arise, liaising across teams, and supporting staff to deliver against service targets and aims. The role will also require caseworker to support the team, liaising with landlords, the procurement of properties, contract monitoring, temporary accommodation placements, and the management of the council's private sector access scheme.

Experience within similar role and Local Authority/Housing Association
