Technical Surveyor - Permanent role and opportunity to make a difference in Bristol - £37,000 - £40,000

Your new company
You will work for a not for profit, commissioned by two local authorities to deliver an effective home improvement service to hundreds of homeowners across the region. Your customers are some of the most venerable in society, and could be elderly or disabled.

Your new role
You will undertake a varied role - this will include surveying a site, diagnosing a repair, specify works and appointing suitable contractors. It would help if you knew the planning system well enough to process applications and also achieve building regulation approval. You will consult with your customers regarding repairs, improvements and adaptations, and monitor the work of building contractors to ensure any works are completed to the required standard.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will firstly need to take great pride in the work you are doing, and the difference you are making. In order to be considered for this role you will need to have either an HNC or HND in Construction or equivalent, and also have a full driving licence. You may have previously worked in a Building Surveyor, Maintenance Surveyor, Planned Works Surveyor or Project Manager role in a similar environment.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a starting salary of £38,000 per year. In addition, you will receive access to a contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave and home / flexible working.
