Estimator - Tier 1 Regional Builder

One of the Best Builders in Edinburgh is seeking to appoint an Experienced Construction Estimator.

Your new company
Our client are one of the best run Building companies in the Central Best with a core focus on the Edinburgh market. With a strong market presence across healthcare, education and leisure/commercial they can offer their staff a varied range of challenging and stimulating projects to work on. As they make plans for 2023 they are seeking to appoint an experienced and well connected construction estimator to join their business.


Your new role
As Estimator you will be reporting into the head of BIDs and supporting their team in the compilation of winning bids and tenders in the markets they target. Their core markets are within the healthcare, education and commercial sectors focused on Edinburgh with a deep interest on working with local institutions such as universities ,councils and NHS. You will be responsible for working with the bid team to put together tenders which ensure they continue to hit their ambitious business targets over the next 2 to 5 years.


What you'll need to succeed
Our client need an experienced estimator with a broad knowledge of the construction sector in the Central belt and Edinburgh. You will have a well developed network across the capable subcontractors in this space and understand how to win tenders in a competitive market against competent competition. The ideal candidate will already have worked in this space as an estimator and can demonstrate a strong track of leading winning bids previously.
