Required by leading Developer to be responsible for leading and managing the Project Management function.

Working closely with the Development Project Managers and their teams, this role is accountable for the delivery of key capital development schemes (both self–build & 3rd Party build projects) including contractual, cost, design, risk, programme and procurement activities. Providing senior coordination and management/reporting throughout the development process, from its inception to its completion.

Reporting to the Head of Development, Project & Cost Management Team, the Development Project Director will be a key link between Investment & Development and the Construction Team, as well as third party contractors, external consultants, and clients.

You’ll to be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of commercial residential property development (both self-build and 3rd party build projects) with excellent knowledge of the RIBA outline plan of work 2020. Due the nature of the role, you’ll need to have a high level of financial literacy, being able to understand in-depth property appraisals, capital costs and demonstrate a clear understanding of how value is created as well as have a strong commercial knowhow, and have direct experience of working in a management capacity on a major PBSA, BTR and affordable housing projects in the UK.
