Repair Surveyor - Wiltshire

Repair Surveyor role available - interim position covering the Wiltshire region - £23 - £25 per hour

You will join a reputable provider of affordable housing who are responsible for the management, maintenance and continuous development of stock based in Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire and Hampshire.

Your new role
As a Repair Surveyor you will undertake a wide range of surveying duties and responsibilities specifically working across the Wiltshire region. You will undertake initial property inspections, diagnosing defects before recommending on a suitable course of action. Your role will involve engaging with approved building contractors, before managing repair works through to completion.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position you will ideally have undertaking a property repair role previously as a surveyor, supervisor or team leader. You will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to recognise building faults and technical issues, before project managing works through to completion. A HNC or degree in a building related subject would be advantageous however is not essential.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an initial six month contract, and an hourly rate of pay up to £25 dependent on experience and qualifications. You'll be paid on a weekly basis, and will be able to take advantage of an annual leave entitlement. Contract extension is highly likely, as is potential transfer into a permanent position.
