Interim Estates Surveyor

Your new company
The council property services department provides professional advice on estate and asset management matters relating to the council's commercial portfolio, this role will be to manage a portfolio of 200+ commercial properties ranging from restaurants to retail to community centres etc.

This role is an interim position whilst permanent solutions are sourced for more senior roles, the term of the contract will be at least 6 months initially, depending on the requirements of the team the contract term may be extended.

Your new role

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing a variety of Code Agreements, Rent Reviews, Lease Renewals, General Management Queries/Issues
• Preparing and presenting summaries for legal documentation.
• A point of contact in respect of property issues and projects for the stakeholders.
• Analysing and manipulating data via the database

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

• Proven experience working with commercial properties and managing a large portfolios of said properties.
• Experience with working with or for a Local Authority
• Must be RICS accredited
• Be able to work in a team collaboratively
• Be able to provide strong advice on property matters and ideas on improving the current financial models.

What you'll get in return
This role is paying a rate of up to £350 per day (Umbrella)
