This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join a local authority to support their maintenance service on their council housing stock. Our client is a public sector organisation based in a easily commutable part of Hertfordshire, they are looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to join their repairs team immediately. The team is very friendly and flexible hybrid working options are available as they encourage a healthy work life balance.

Your new role
As a Housing Maintenance Surveyor you will take ownership of all aspects of maintenance work, from carrying out detailed technical inspections of domestic properties to assisting the Property Services Team in delivering a high level of compliance on key statutory compliance service contracts. Able to carry out maintenance surveys for day 2 day repairs, insurance claims, complaints etc.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you should have experience working with planned maintenance projects within the residential sector. You should have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes. As well as HNC in Building or equivalent, PQE 3-5 years, ex-trades person welcome.
