Asset and Building Manager

Full Time Building and Asset manager - £42-47k

Your new role
Working as part of the estates team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of key objectives of the asset strategy. You will manage the maintenance strategy of the estate, and lead a small team in control of space management and utilities. The Asset and Build Manager has a critical role to play in ensuring that the assets are understood, managed and maintained to the highest possible standard, ensuring the safety of all stakeholders, whilst providing assurance of honouring legal and statutory obligations in relation to building maintenance

Key responsibilities:

- Be accountable for landlord and tenant contracts
- Produce regular performance reports to the senior FM team
- Support the development of the maintenance strategy
- Review life cycle and asset condition data on health & safety and compliance
- Actively promote FM and estate services

What you'll need to succeed

- Experience in FM in education environment
- Membership of relevant professional body such as IWFM, IMechE, CIBSE
- Knowledge of H&S legislation in FM services
- Working knowledge of asset management principles
- Experience of maintenance and engineering systems legislation and quality standards
