Principal Mechanical Engineer - Building Services - long-term project - Up to £450 per day

Hays Building Services is working with multi-disciplinary consultancy who require a Principal Mechanical Engineer on a 6-month rolling contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to work with a market leader in the Building Services industry who not only offer an exciting range of projects, but have a brilliant ethos around their people and culture.

Your new role
The responsibilities you will have within the role are those that you would expect of a typical Principal Mechanical Engineer i.e. taking a lead for the design of mechanical building services, report writing, writing specs, attending client / contractor meetings, using Revit, Hevacomp and other relevant software packages. You will assigned to a specific project which is currently RIBA stage 2 - the project is a very prestigious equestrian centre in the middle east and the consultancy are responsible for the whole project!

What you'll need to succeed

• HNC / HND in Electrical Building Services
• Able to competently use Revit & Hevacomp.
• Experience working for a consultancy is desirable
• Experienced as a Principal / Discipline lead engineer

What you'll get in return

• Up to £450 per day (IR35 IN SCOPE)
