Project Quantity Surveyor - Freelance

Develop your freelance Quantity Experience working on large infrastructure project.

Your new company
Our client are a leading subcontractor working on a significant piece of infrastructure for the the local community. As they project gets busier they are seeking to appoint an experienced quantity surveyor to their site team. This project is a large transport project in the Perth area so would suit a candidate in this area.


Your new role

As Quantity Surveyor you will be working closely with the principal contractor ensuring that our client's commercial interest is protected at all times. You will be responsible for effective contract administration documenting all changes , variations and any contractual notices. You will be based onsite most of the time allowing you to develop excellent knowledge of the project complexity and to maintain a positive relationship with the main contractor.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client are seeking to appoint a degree qualified quantity surveyor who is happy to work on a freelance or contract basis. You will broad construction experience and have worked for both contractors and subcontractors previously on large infrastructure or building projects. You will be expected to be reasonably autonomous and work with minimal supervision.


What you'll get in return
Our client can offer a 6 month contract initially and this role can be defined as outside of IR35 so can pay into a PTY limited company. A competitive day rate will be paid to the right candidate.
