Hays are delighted to be working closely with one of our long term clients to recruit a Quantity Surveyor into their Ely office. Our client is an impressive Chartered Quantity Surveying consultancy that specialises in providing support to construction clients, contractors and legal practices across the UK.

They work on phenomenal projects across Infrastructure, Retail & Leisure, Healthcare, Commercial and Education. Due to continued success and growth, there is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with experience to join the team. This would be a great position for someone with Contractor or Professional experience.

Your new role
As the new Quantity Surveyor you will provide both Pre and Post contract services, assist with final accounts and also work on conflict and claim resolution. Day to day you will prepare bills of quantities, be involved in procurement, review contracts and provide both commercial and financial advice.

You will also oversee projects as they develop to monitor and manage their costs and keep them on track whilst maximising value recovery.

You will have access to a very exciting list of clients and projects across all sectors - no two days are the same!

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will ideally have a few years of industry experience, and a degree (or equivalent) qualification. You will have good knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

On a personal level you will be able to communicate effectively and be a natural relationship builder. You'll be enthusiastic, reliable, and committed.

A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
