Assistant College Surveyor (Full-Time, Permanent)

Applications are invited for the full-time permanent role of Assistant College Surveyor at Magdalen College, Oxford.

The post-holder will assist with the long term care of the fabric of the College buildings on its main site and surrounding properties. The post-holder will also assist with the management of new work projects. This is a new post and the appointee will join the Estates team and report to the College Surveyor, helping him to manage the rich and diverse estates at the heart of the College’s heritage and academic life.

Applicants should have a good honours degree and an appropriate professional qualification (RIBA/RICS/CIOB/IHBC or other UK industry recognised qualification), with at least two year’s post qualification experience gained in either private or public practice, in fields such as building surveying and construction project management.

The salary for this post will be at Grade 6, Spine Point 33, of the University salary scale (£38,592 per annum), plus benefits. The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday 30 January 2023.
