Quantity Surveyor

Your new company
A vibrant and high performing Contractor based in Derbyshire who have a range of projects from manufacturing building materials to construction of buildings predominantly across Commercial, Industrial and Education sectors.

Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be reporting to the Directors and covering tasks including:
Project Pricing, Reconciling accounts, Pricing works, Site meetings, Staff wages, Quotations for sub-contractors, On-site measurements, Contract management, Take offs, BOQs, Cost / Budget Management and associated tasks.
You will typically be supporting between 3 and 5 projects at one time and will be driven to develop into the lead on the commercial aspects of the role.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working for a Contractor/Subcontractor or House Builder as an Assistant or QS with a good understanding of building processes, stages and where information needs to be to keep the projects running on time and budget.
You will be an excellent communicator, have a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying and be keen to develop across a range of sectors.
