OHLE Design Engineer

As the demand to deliver exceptional engineering design from our clients continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for a Principal or Senior OHL
Design Engineer.

Your new role

The Principal OHL Design Engineer role will be responsible for leading the OHL design team.

What you'll need to succeed
The candidate must have experience in

• Technical experience in the production of all designs, calculations, reports & drawings associated with the new build or refurbishment of overhead line projects from 11kV - 400kV.
• Experience in design of OHL with PLS-CADD and PLS-Tower.
• Experience in either CAD packages such, AutoCAD, BoCAD, etc.
• Have a good understanding of British and European Standards and technical specifications from utility providers such as National Grid, SSE, Scottish Power, UKPN, WPD, etc

Qualifications and training

• BEng/Bsc in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferably a Master's degree or working towards) with minimum 10 years' experience in OHL design.
• Preferably Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer
• Ideally be TP137 Approved for OHL design.
