Quantity Surveyor

Leading Fitout Contractor seeks experienced Quantity Surveyor. Competitive Salary available/ 4 Day Week!

Your new company
Our client are a well respected fitout contractor long established in the Scottish Construction industry. With new management and a new approach they are looking to grow their business over the next 5 years and to that end they are seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their team. Fundamental to our clients culture is a focus on work life balance and they have formally moved to a four day working week for all of their technical and head office based staff. This makes this role highly attractive to a QS who is looking for true work life balance!

Your new role
As QS you will be a key commercial resource for the whole business. From assisting the estimating team in putting together winning bids and tenders to supporting the junior QS's in their learning journey you will be heavily involved in all parts of the commercial activities of the business. As a subcontractor QS you will also have heavy involvement in current and future projects in terms of contracts management.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client are looking for a degree qualified quantity surveyor with broad construction and fitout experience. You will be adaptable and flexible and enjoy getting involved in all commercial elements of a project and a business. You enjoy the cut and thrust of working with reputable main contractors in ensuring our clients commercial position is always protected through effective written and verbal communication.


What you'll get in return
Our client will pay a competitive salary and benefits package and you will be expected to work 4 days a week in the office full time. This is a true 4 day week and you will not be expected to work from home. For some quantity surveyors this could be of a massive benefit and we look forward to hearing from you!
