An award winning Refurbishment and Property maintenance company working across the South East on a mixture of decent homes, retrofit, Interior fit out and planned maintenance works. Due to several imminent new project starting in the SE region they now seek an experienced Contracts manager to join the delivery team. The 2 new projects are both Kitchen and bathroom occupied refurbishment schemes of approx. £5 mill each, the Projects are in the North Kent & SE London area and programmed for approx. 18 months with further works already in negotiation.
Your new role
As Contract manager you will be project lead for both schemes & most senior manager in the region, reporting to an office based national operations manager. As contracts manager you will be responsible for the control and direction of several site managers ensuring programme adherence, minimal defects and budget control, you will also be the main point of contact for the client and external stakeholder
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong occupied refurbishment background including Kitchens, bathrooms & roofing, at a pm or cm level and be comfortable managing multiple contracts simultaneously. You will be comfortable dealing with clients and external stakeholders and be fully i.t literate, be comfortable working in the Kent / SE London region and be looking for a long term permanent role.
