A Successful Regional Main contractor now seek an experienced Senior Site manager for a new build Education scheme in SE London. The project is a new building on an existing campus creating Classrooms and a new sports hall, Overall project Value approx. £10 Million, Due on site Jan 2023.
With multiple other live sites and a strong and stable commercial team this is a rare opportunity to join a healthy business for the right reasons, the role is a newly created one and an expansion of the current team.
The organisation are well established and work across various sectors including education, healthcare and residential, both framework and tendered contracts. Project values between £2 - 10 million currently with a busy 2023 already confirmed.

Your new role
As senior site manager you will be number 1 on site reporting to a visiting senior contracts manager, You will be project lead and responsible for co-ordination of all the key stakeholders across the commercial, design and construction departments. You will be ultimately responsible for sub-contract management, health and safety adherence and paperwork, client liaison, progress reporting, commercial management (via the QS) and generally ensuring a positive culture on site amongst the team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will demonstrate a stable background with a medium to large main contractor and be comfortable managing your own project. You will be fully i.t literate, hold some form of academic construction qualification and be looking for a long term perm role.
