Sen Qs to work across new build & refurbishment HA schemes, V. Busy local main contractor, £competitive

Your new company
A well established Main contractor specialising in Local authority refurbishment schemes across Central and South London. Projects are typically internal and external refurbishments of occupied/live apartment schemes, contracts valued between £5 - 10 mill spread over several years. Due to a recent key project win in the decent homes sector they now seek an experienced QS to join the team - The project involves internal and external aspects and is part of a new multi-year framework, The scheme is due on site imminently and programmed to run for 24 months minimum.

Your new role
AS Qs you will have full commercial management of the project reporting to a commercial director when needed. Your primary goal will be to ensure all completed works are accounted for and invoiced as well as ensuring payment of subcontractors, helping price new works and reporting on financials to the Directors. As well as refurbishment schemes there will be new build works projects starting in the new year, Social housing new builds 20 - 50 units.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Quantity surveyor from a main contractor background with strong experience in Local authority works, ideally both refurbishment and newbuild. You will be looking for a long term permanent role and be happy commuting to the SE London area (Bromley) You will be happy working independently managing your own schemes and be fully it literate.
