Award Winning Builder seeks to appoint Assistant Contracts Manager to support its growing business.

Your new company
Our client are an award winning builder based in Glasgow who specialise in the building of complex commercial , educational and retail developments across the Central Belt. With a busy 2023 ahead them they are seeking to support their senior management group by appointing an assistant Contracts Manager to their business.


Your new role
This role is unique. It will encompass all elements of construction management from getting involved in writing programmes and methodologies to supporting site teams in solving the technical issues which arise onsite on a daily basis. Reporting to two contracts managers you will be a support to them ensuring they can operate effectively in their roles while allowing you develop into a contracts manager down the road.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client are ideally looking for someone with at least 2 years post grad experience in construction management or site engineering but is looking for role which will allow them progress quicker. You will have an excellent understanding of the construction lifecycle and the key challenges at each stage and are confident in your ability to hit the ground running and add benefit quickly to the senior management group. If you are a site engineer looking for a role which will allow you to take on a more responsibility quickly this is a role definitely worth considering. This role will also take you off site and allow you to be based more in a head office position.
