Leading Contractor requires Junior Site Engineer or construction graduate to join their team on large project.

Your new role

Our client are currently in the process of delivering a large commercial project in the middle of Glasgow and are seeking to appoint a junior site engineer or construction management graduate to the team. Reporting to the Project Manager you will be a key part of the team and get exposed to the processes and procedures involved in getting a complex city centre project over the line. A core part of the role will be to assist the site team in the documentation and recording of existing snag lists and quality issues as the job hits the final stretch. As the project proceeds you will more heavily involved in other activities to assist the site team.


What you'll need to succeed
Our client are seeking a construction graduate who has some experience onsite and perhaps understands the fundamentals of how a project gets handed over. You will be comfortable in the use of technology and have excellent communication skills and the ability to get on well with construction professionals onsite. You see yourself as progressing towards a career in construction as an engineer or site manager and this would be a great opportunity to get onsite and play a key role in the handover of a large project in an urban environment.


What you'll get in return
This project has about 8 months to go and our client can offer a competitive package on a fixed term basis and potentially further work post this project depending on pipeline etc.
