Estimator - Construction - Negotiable Salary

Your new company
Regional contractor with 20 years of operating around Cambridgeshire and further afield. With an established client base and projects ranging from Residential, Commercial New Build and Refurbishments

Your new role
Due to continued expansion they are now looking for an Estimator to join the commercial team.
Projects typically range from £400k - £2m

Main Duties:

• Preparing and submitting quotations for work
• Calculating the cost of materials, transport, labour and equipment hire.
• Obtaining quotes for all predicted requirements from sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Collating detailed price lists of everything needed on each construction project.
• Clarifying the client's needs and expectations.
• Reading plans and taking measurements
• Making visits to proposed construction sites.
